Cristiano Ronaldo Breaks Euro Goal Drought with Stunning Backheel Flick

Going into Portugal"s final Euro 2016 group-stage match, Cristiano Ronaldo"s tournament was a story of missed penalties, wayward free-kicks, failed chances and bitter comments aimed at the smallest competing nation.

Against Hungary, however, the Real Madrid megastar finally found his groove, scoring his first competitive goal for Portugal in 12 months with a sublime backheelflick in the 50th minute, shown above.

In what appeared to be the game of the tournament thus far, Ronaldo doubled his tally 11 minutes later with a header that marks his eighth goal at the European Championship:
