The passing of Beastie Boys MemberGuitarist John Berry, an original member of the Beastie Boys passed away in hospice in Massachusetts yesterday morning. Although he was only with the Beastie Boys from 1981-82, he is credited with giving the group its name. He played on the first EP Polly Wog Stew and was later replaced by Ad-Rock.
