Things got awkward on Jenny McCarthy"s Sirus XM radio show Friday when actress Tara Reid walked out on a live interview.

The tension built when actress-model McCarthy (who lives in St. Charlesand is married to singer Donnie Wahlberg) pressed Reid about her experience filming WE tv"s reality show "Marriage Boot Camp."

I think the whole thing is absolutely stupid and silly. And, like, were not even talking about it because theres confusing things about it," responded Reid, who wanted to discuss her upcoming role in "Shaknado 4."

But McCarthy switched the subject and askedReid about her exercise regime and plastic surgery. That was enough for Reid, who walked out. The radio show"s Twitter account posted, "What do you think about Tara Reid walking out on Jenny McCarthy today on JMShow?" along with the segment from the interview.

The Jenny McCarthy Show is live 9-11 a.m. weekdays.

The American Pie star (40), who has enjoyed cult movie star status in recent years thanks to her role in the B-movie "franchise" Sharknado. And the actress, who is as famous for her partying as she is her early film roles, made the most of her time in the spotlight with two red carpets this week.

On Wednesday night, she appeared at an ESPYs after-party hosted by Celebrity Sweat, wearing a white shift dress. Earlier in the week, she posed for photographers at the premiere of Undrafted.

Reid recently lamented about her flailing career, saying: "Where did my career go?"

While speaking on Today Extra in Australia, she interrupted herself while describing her latest role - a Bollywood movie - entitled Tie The Knot.

"Its weirder than Sharknado," she said. "I was doing that movie and Sharknado at the same time. Im like, What am I doing anymore? Where did my career go?

Never did I think Sharknado would be a cult film, she said.

Theyre talking about Sharknado 5 already.
