Juan Carlos Osorio hasMexicowinning his way.

Osorio"s mixing-and-matching methodology for his lineup might be scrutinized by some and far from universally popular back home, yet at least some of his players believe it gives El Tri a much-needed edge that is working pretty well if not completely consistently just yet.

Everybody must stay sharp and ready, because you don"t know when your name might be called in thisCopaAmerica tournament. A little healthy competition? You bet.

The coach strays from steady, predictable decisions and seems to go with his gut depending on opponent and situation and who"s got the hot foot.

No arguing the results. AndMexicohopes that winning its group is just the start of a specialCopaAmerica run.

Up next is a quarterfinal matchup against defendingCopachampion and fifth-ranked Chile on Saturday night at sold-out Levi"s Stadium, where this very well could be the most hyped-up atmosphere yet for a sporting event at the 2-year-old, $1.3 billion stadium perhaps topping this year"s Super Bowl with 70,000 people expected. Hugely popular,Mexicois almost like a home team in thisCopa, being played in the United States for the first time with a special 100th anniversary tournament featuring six nations from North and Central America and the Caribbean.

Osorio has used three different goalkeepers in as many matches so far thisCopaAmerica, and 21 of his 23 players on the roster have suited up for at least one game.

"I"m all up for the rotations because that helps you to stay in top shape all the time knowing that you have a shot to be the starter every game," defender Paul Aguilar said. "We respect what the coach is doing and, for me, it helps to stay focused."

Mexicois ranked 16th in the world and riding a 22-game undefeated streak, its best ever and topping an unbeaten stretch of 21 consecutive matches by the 2004-05 team coached by Argentinian Ricardo La Volpe.

Watch Mexico Vs. Chile Football Live Online: Start Time, Streaming Video Link For Wednesday"s Copa America Tune-Up

MEXICO vs CHILE COPA AMÉRICA AMISTOSO EN SAN DIEGO┋MEJORES GOLES

Fans can watch the Mexico vs. Chile football match live online and see how the teams fare in their final tune-ups before the Copa America.

The rivals meet Wednesday night in San Diego, with start time scheduled for 10 p.m. ET (7 p.m. Pacific). The match will be broadcast on UniMs and Univision Deportes, and will also be available online for those looking to watch on streaming video (a link to the online video can be found below).

Mexico comes into the match on a hot streak, with a strong win last weekend against Paraguay and a great stretch of defense. The team has actually yet to surrender a goal under coach Juan Carlos Osorio.

It helps that Osorio has brought his best. After Mexico assembled something of a B squad for the 2015 Copa America as coach Miguel Herrera chose to focus instead on the Gold Cup played later that summer this years team is a strong one. As the San Diego Tribune noted, the roster includes Javier Chicharito Hernandez, Rafa Marquez, Andres Guardado, Oribe Peralta, and Ensenadas Hector Herrera.

Fans who watch the Mexico vs. Chile football match live online will see what promises to be a raucous affair, even if the stakes arent particularly high. The Mexican national teams first visit to San Diegos Qualcomm Stadium in three years is expected to generate a sell-out crowd and could approach the all-time record for a football match in San Diego, potentially topping the 68,498 who showed up for a 2008 match in which Mexico took on an Argentina team led by Lionel Messi.

Osorio said he is looking forward to a good game in front of a great crowd.

The Mexican fans are very passionate, Osorio told the San Diego Tribune after Tuesdays practice. I believe it will be a full capacity, where all the players will feel the support from the fans. I expect to produce a good performance, hopefully not only up to the level of Chile but what the people expect from us.Mexico will have quite a test on Wednesday, facing the team that tore through last years Copa America tournament to win it all. Osorio said they will again be a heavy favorite to win.

Chile has a great team with all the possibilities, which is why I think it will be a great match for us, with a high level of play, Osorio said, via IBT. Its no surprise they won the Copa America, and I would say yes, it will be a candidate to win again, but Mexicos also included in that group.

While fans who watch the Mexico vs. Chile football match live online will see quite a challenge for El Tri, Osorio said it is a great primer for the upcoming tournament. Mexicos first match in the Copa America Centenario is Saturday against Uruguay in Phoenix.

There will also be some lineup changes after last Saturdays 1-0 win over Paraguay, ESPNFC reported. Osorio said that Jesus Corona will start one half in goal and Alfredo Talavera the other one, as he is giving no indication which player he will start in the Copa America. Their performances on Wednesday night could end up deciding that.

The team will also get an infusion of players on break from their European teams, including Jesus Tecatito Corona, Miguel Layun, Hector Herrera, Raul Jimenez, and Diego Reyes. Osorio said each of those players will be on the field between 45 and 60 minutes in Wednesdays match.

Mexico"s Raul Jimenez (9) celebrates after scoring against Chile during their first round Copa America 2015 soccer match at the National Stadium in Santiago, Chile, June 15, 2015.

Mexico is eyeing reigning Copa America champs, Chile, in an international friendly soccer game that will be played at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California. The match takes place on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 and kick-off time is 10 p.m. ET or (7 p.m. PT).

Both teams are likely favorites to win the Copa America tournament taking place across 10 cities in the U.S. between June 3 - 26. With the sheer amount of Mexican immigrants and descendants living in the U.S., Mexico should feel as if it was playing at home for this one. However, count out reigning champs, Chile, who have a squad capable enough to beat any team participating in the cup, including Mexico.

2016 Copa America Final Foreshadow?

In fact, this match-up could well be a foreshadow of what the Copa America final may look like since, in addition to Argentina, Brazil and Colombia, Mexico and Chile are arguably very fit to win this cup.

Mexico just came off from defeating Paraguay in another friendly this past Saturday, May 28 in Atlanta, Georgia. Chile on the other hand was not as lucky losing to Jamaica 2 to 1 last Friday on home-turf. Chile should beware of their play in that while they still hold the Copa America title, the tournament is expected to present many surprises including the Jamaican team.

Players to Watch

Some of the players to watch for the Mexican team which is part of Group C (MEX, URU, JAM, VEN) are Rafael Marquez, Chicharito Hernandez, Hector Moreno and Andres Guardado. Chile on the other hand is part of Group D (CHI, ARG, PAN, BOL) and you can look out for the squad"s top players in Arturo Vidal, Alexis Sanchez, Claudio Bravo and Marcelo Diaz.

Mex - Chi Match History

The last match both teams faced each other was on June 15, 2015 and the results were a 3 to 3 draw. Prior to that, Mexico and Chile also tied in a game on September 6, 2014. In total, out of the 30 times both teams have faced each other Mexico won 16 times, Chile 9 times and both teams tied 5 times.

TV Broadcast and Live Online Streaming
