Deontay Wilder vs. Chris Arreola COMPLETE Weigh In & Face Off Video
Deontay Wilder scored a monster knockout over Artur Szpilka in January of this year. In this video from Showtime, called Anatomy of a Punch, Wilder dissects his knockout punch.
We take a look at the fight replay, and Wilder talks about setting up the shot. He relays that Szpilka kept on coming in the same way, and leaving his head in the same position.
Wilder saw it all night long, and was waiting for the right moment to deliver the resounding kayo shot. He describes that the punch hit him so sharp, it was like slicing a thin slice of cheese. Alright. He says he didnt feel anything almost, and it wasnt what he usually feels.
Either way, it was a monster punch. He goes onto say that he thinks he killed him for 3 to 5 seconds as he wasnt breathing at first. Thats not really how it works. OK.
Then he talks about how he doesnt want to hurt anybody permanently and that his right hand is a beast. As always, a very humble, soft spoken, and logical, interview with Deontay Wilder.
Still, cant take away that its a great knockout, even if it was just another in a long line of overmatched opponents he shouldnt have been fighting.
