Wales and Northern Ireland are set for a historic meeting on Saturday as they each attempt to reach a first European Championship quarter-final.
The last-16 tie in Paris is the first time two home nations have met in the knockout stages of a major tournament.
Wales finished above England to win Group B, with Northern Ireland qualifying from Group C as one of the best third-placed teams.
Thousands of Wales and Northern Ireland fans are expected in Paris.
"It"s a one-off game now and we"ll go into it thinking we can get a victory," said Northern Ireland striker Kyle Lafferty.
Wales manager Chris Coleman said: "It will be about who handles that spotlight the best, who"s capable of performing under that pressure and tension."
There is further home nations interest in the match as England"s Martin Atkinson will be the referee.
Wales & Northern Ireland "have belief to win Euro 2016"
Where Wales v Northern Ireland will be won and lost
Nations ready for the big stage
With both nations having limited tournament experience over the years, it is not surprising Saturday"s game will be their first meeting at a major finals.
There have been four World Cup or European Championship qualifiers, countless British Home Championship games and the odd friendly - but nothing matching the pressure and intensity of a knockout tie.
Wales go into the match with the historical advantage, having won 15 of their 34 previous meetings since 1953 - when Fifa ruled Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland must compete under separate names.
Northern Ireland have not beaten Wales in eight attempts, a winless run stretching back to a 1-0 Home Championship victory in May 1980.

While Michael O"Neill"s men will not dwell on results from previous generations, they do have a recent gauge of the challenge provided by their Welsh opponents.
The nations met in a pre-Euro 2016 friendly just three months ago when Wales nicked a late 1-1 draw in Cardiff.
Coleman"s injury-hit side, however, were missing star men Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey, while nine of the Northern Irish team that night started Tuesday"s final Group C game against Germany.
Highlights: Wales 1-1 N IrelandWhat the Welsh camp has been saying
Wales manager Chris Coleman:
"This is tournament football. Both teams find themselves in a position where they"ve earned respect, they"ve earned the tension.
"That pressure and tension is what we"ve been screaming for for years - there"s no complaints from us. We"re just looking forward to the game."
Wales forward Gareth Bale:
"The support from our fans is incredible - we call it the Red Wall. You know like Borussia Dortmund you see the Yellow Wall, we call it the Red Wall.
"To see the stadium it"s red, it"s like a home game. We see on the big screen fans crying and it means so much, not to just us as players but to us as a nation.
"You hear the stories coming back from home which make you smile and make you laugh and hopefully we can keep giving them more stuff to celebrate.
"I want to thank them first and foremost for keeping supporting us, they have been incredible over here.
"They have been amazingly behaved and hopefully they can continue to keep doing that and we can continue making them proud and happy."
What the Northern Irish camp has been saying
Northern Ireland manager Michael O"Neill:
"We don"t want this to end. The players want more.
"The prize is massive for both teams. We are playing for a place in the quarter-finals and we have to make sure it is us going through."
Northern Ireland captain Steven Davis:
"I think both sets of players will be extremely pumped up because of what"s riding on it and what"s at stake.
"There are a lot of similarities with the two teams in terms of progress over the last couple of years.
"It probably will have an edge because of what"s riding on it, both sets of fans have been magnificent and both sets of players believe we can progress.
"It"s going to be a great opportunity, and one we"re looking forward to.
"I think there"s a respect for each other as countries. There will definitely be an edge but maybe not that rivalry."
Wales analysis - Dafydd Pritchard (BBC Wales Sport)
Wales were frustrated when they last played Northern Ireland, unable to play with any cohesion as they drew their March friendly 1-1 at the Cardiff City Stadium.
It was an example of how Chris Coleman"s men can struggle to break teams down when opponents drop deep, and Northern Ireland demonstrated against Germany how obdurate they can be as a defensive unit.
However, the big difference between the friendly and Saturday"s encounter was that Wales were without Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey in Cardiff.
The talismanic pair have played in all three of Wales" Euro 2016 group games, with both in sparkling form as they demolished Russia so spectacularly to reach the second round.
Manager Chris Coleman says Wales must guard against the emotion of a UK derby when they play Northern Ireland at Euro 2016.
Northern Ireland may defend deep in an attempt to negate Bale"s pace, though that could create space for Ramsey, an intelligent playmaker whose performance against Russia was perhaps his best in a Welsh shirt.
Bale expects Michael O"Neill"s side to employ a "defensive" approach and, having been a Real Madrid player for three years, he will be well accustomed to facing teams whose first aim is to shackle the opposition.
Both sides are riding a wave having reached the knockout stages of a major tournament for only the second time in their history, both backed by a loud and partisan following.
But whereas Northern Ireland lost two of their group games, Wales enter this game fresh from what was arguably their greatest performance, confident their superior firepower will be enough to overcome their dogged opponents.
Northern Ireland analysis - Lyle Jackson (BBC Sport NI)
Northern Ireland knew they would be playing hosts France or Wales at the last-16 stage.
Manager Michael O"Neill expressed a preference for the Welsh and got his wish - now his team have to deliver on the Paris pitch.
They believe they have a decent chance in a match which they expect to be more like a Premier League or Championship fixture, rather than a continental style game. The match has an English referee in Martin Atkinson.
NI boss O"Neill believes the knockout format of the last 16 will suit Northern Ireland
Another solid defensive display will be required and Gareth Bale will somehow have to be shackled.
Cutting the supply to the Real Madrid star is seen as a crucial ploy which will require a team effort.
Manager O"Neill may be more adventurous in his selection and team formation.
NI believe the Welsh may be suspect at the back, so there is a case for striker Kyle Lafferty being recalled to the starting 11.
The back four of Hughes, Gareth McAuley, Craig Cathcart and Jonny Evans should be retained.
In midfield, the big-game experience of skipper Steven Davis will be crucial for Northern Ireland, while the likes of Stuart Dallas and Oliver Norwood have certainly not looked out of place at the tournament.
Who will be the key men?
Gareth Bale is undoubtedly Wales" star player - and the world"s most expensive player has been integral to their progression into the last 16.
The Real Madrid forward, 26, scored in each of the three group games, becoming only the seventh player to achieve this feat in the European Championship finals.
Bale is now Wales" outright top scorer in major finals with three goals, netting one more than Ivor Allchurch (two, all in the 1958 World Cup)
But Bale will have to find a way past Northern Ireland keeper Michael McGovern, who has also been in inspired form during the tournament.
The 31-year-old, who is currently without a club, made eight saves in the 1-0 defeat by Germany, enabling his team to progress to the last 16 on goal difference.
McGovern"s tally of eight saves against Germany is only bettered at Euro 2016 by Russia"s Igor Akinfeev, who made nine saves against WalesThe full last-16 draw

Chief executives face tough decisions over how to respond to Britain"s vote to leave the European Union.
PT1M50S 620 349
UPDATE:ASOS have responded after fans of the brand expressed concern on social media that the online store"s website and app had been taken offline due tothe plummeting value of the British pound after the UK voted to leave the European Union yesterday.
"Yes, the site is down. This is because of a power outage at a third party data centre that hosts our servers," the brand said in a statement to Fairfax Media.
"This has impacted other businesses hosted by the centre. Our tech team are working hard to restore services which involves replacing damaged hardware. That"s why it"s taking longer to get back online. We are keeping our customers informed on social media."
British online retailer ASOS has not traded since the results of the British EU referendum were announced
As previously reported:
British online retailer ASOSis down, in what some are speculatingis a reaction to the plummeting value of the pound after Friday"s Brexit decision.
The online fashion and accessories store"s website and mobile app havebeen closed since Friday morning.
"Erm, "scuse us, we need a little time out," an error message on the website reads.
"The site isn"t currently available but we"re doing everything we can to get it back up soon!"
According to the store"s social media channels, the website is unavailable due to a tech issue.
Fans of the online storehave expressed frustration at the long downtime.
"Asos site is down... Are they leaving us too?" asked one (presumably European) Twitter user.
Some potential shoppers have wondered if the website has crashed because of international customers trying to take advantage of the pound"s falling value by buying British goods.
Others speculated the store wastaking the time to increase the pound value of their prices so as to not lose international revenue.
ASOS has not made any further statement clarifying the reason for the downtime, and has given no indication as to when its online store will return to trading.
Its safe to say Friday was kind of a dumpster fire of news. The day opened with news of the British deciding to leave the European Union. It set off all sorts of chatter, and the resignation of the prime minister of England. Normally I would ignore this kind of politics here, but given the way the rest of the day went, I view this as kind of a tone-setter.
The NFL decided on a modest little news dump earlier this afternoon with word that the league will be interviewing players mentioned in the Al Jazeera report, with interviews planned for the beginning of training camp. For those who dont remember it, the Al Jazeera report implicated Peyton Manning and others in PED. The report was a hot mess, with recanted statements leaving things completely up in the air. The NFLPA is challenging this given the questions surrounding the report.
Things got nutty at the end of the afternoon, with a report that Johnny Manziels attorney accidentally texted some rather damning content to the Associated Press. Manziels attorney apparently thought he was texting another lawyer. He mentioned doubts about Manziels ability to stay clean, and something about Manziel spending more than $1,000 at a drug paraphernalia 15 hours after a hit-and-run incident.
And why not close things off with free agent quarterback Tarvaris Jackson getting arrested.
Flooding in West Virginia leads to multiple fatalities
Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin announced 14 deaths at a news conference early in the afternoon. By Friday night, the West Virginia Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management had increased the death toll to 23.
Trees and power lines fell as heavy rains sent creeks and rivers out of their banks late Thursday and early Friday, leaving many stranded residents waiting to be rescued.
Forty-four counties declared a state of emergency Thursday night, primarily in the southeastern part of West Virginia. Elkview, Clendenin and Frame have been hit the hardest by the flooding, officials said.
Tomblin activated 200 National Guard members to assist in eight counties and has authorization for as many as 300 more to help with the rescue and response efforts, the governor"s office said Friday.
"Together with the National Guard, our first responders, local emergency management officials and firefighters from across the state have been working around the clock, and we are deeply appreciative of their efforts," Tomblin said in the statement.
A 4-year-old boy was washed away by rapid floodwaters in Jackson County, officials said. The child was playing with his sister behind their home when he fell into what a stream that had instantly turned into a rushing current after the relentless storms. An 8-year old boy from Ravenswood was also killed in the violent storm.
Severe damage to homes and infrastructure can be seen throughout the state, residents said. At one point during the height of the storm, there were 64 active emergency calls in Kanawha County, according to county spokeswoman Brooke Hylbert.
A 1,000-year flood
The high terrain along rivers in southeastern West Virginia are exacerbating the flooding, meteorologists said.
Weather radar estimates show that more than 10 inches of rain have fallen in portions of Greenbrier County. There is a 1 in 1,000 chance of this type of rainfall happening in any given year, according to the National Weather Service.
In Kanawha County, which includes the capital of Charleston, the Elkview River crested at 33.37 feet Friday morning, meteorologists said. The river rose more than 27 feet from Thursday afternoon to Friday morning, the highest crest since record-keeping began more than 125 years ago, according to the National Weather Service.
Stranded at a shopping mall
The rain washed out an access road at Elkview Crossings Mall, leaving nearly 200 people stranded when a bridge that connects the shopping plaza to the road collapsed under the downpour, residents said.
The National Guard was building a temporary bridge to help expedite the rescue mission at the mall.
Homes washed away
Thursday night unfolded like a horrific movie for 26-year-old Chad Agner of White Sulphur Springs, in the southern part of the state.
"The flooding looked like the ocean. There were these big waves," Agner said.
As the rain intensified, Anger, who was planning to grab dinner with a friend, decided to head to his apartment instead, only to find his neighbor submerged in knee-deep water.
"The water was so high," Agner said. He decided against going inside his apartment to retrieve his belongings.
Agner said he saw the flood sweeping away homes and cars before his eyes.
"The house in front of where my apartment used to be is turned over. Some houses are totally gone," he told CNN. "My apartment is gone."
Other residents of White Sulphur Springs said the floods launched a home off its foundation and down Howard"s Creek.
Helpless witnesses said the house caught fire and was burning as it floated down the stream, which runs through the town.
Golf resort under water
Also in White Sulphur Springs, the storms severely impacted the luxury Greenbrier resort, which is set to host the PGA Tour"s Greenbrier Classic in July.
Professional PGA golfer Bubba Watson, who was at the resort when the storms hit, shared a photo and video on his Twitter account showing the grounds covered in fast-moving brown water.
Because of "widespread damage" from the heavy flooding, the resort will be closed until further notice, the Greenbrier announced on Twitter.
Resort owner Jim Justice released a statement saying that their focus is on helping the people, not "the property, the golf course, or anything else."
CNN"s Azadeh Ansari, Keith Allen, Ralph Ellis and Taylor Ward contributed to this report.
