UPDATED at noon Tuesday:Kander"s campaign announced today he won"t attend the convention, citing scheduling conflicts.
ST. LOUIS Jason Kander, the Democrat challenging U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Mo., this fall, said Monday he still hasn"t decided whether he will attend next week"s Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.
"It"s really a scheduling question," Kander said, when askedduring an unrelated campaign event downtown. "We"re looking right now to see if it fits in the schedule."
You don"t have to be a raving cynic to wonder about that explanation. National political conventions are what other items on a candidate"s agenda are scheduled around, not vice-versa.
The fact that Blunt is skipping this week"s Republican National Convention in Cleveland has been widely interpreted as an attempt atkeeping presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump at arm"s length. It appears Kander is at least considering the same tactic with presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, who isn"t popular in Missouri.
Kander, who is currently Missouri"s secretary of state, said he will decide in the next few days whether he"s going.
Nationally, polls have consistently shown Trump and Clinton to be, respectively, the least-popular and second-least-popular nominees in modern presidential history.

Apple teased the future of messaging during its Worldwide Developer Conference this week. The iOS 10 update is going to change the way you text (and sext) and one feature in particular, Invisible Ink, looks d**n cool if you"re into discretion.
Invisible Ink lets you message words or a photo that look like scattered dots until you swipe over it, revealing the hidden message. After the recipient opens it, it"ll default back to the mass of flecks. Covert as h**l. One way this could"ve been more covert is if Apple required your fingerprint to open the messages.

It"s not like Snapchat the message doesn"t destruct after reading but it doesn"t remain visible for long. You"ll have to keep swiping over the dots to read it, so if you want to keep personal messages obfuscated (nudes), Invisible Ink affords you more discretion than your average iMessage.
How to send a message with Invisible InkSource:YouTubeHere"s how to send an invisible ink message with iOS 10:
Type out your message or choose the photo you want to send.
Then 3D Touch, push it real good, the send arrow to pull up the new bubble effect options.
From there, you can choose the invisible ink feature. Press that, and it"ll apply the inconspicuous effect to your message.

You might"ve recognized Ariana Grande"s boo Don Benjamin in her new musicvideo for "Into You," the second single off her new albumDangerous Women. That"s because three years ago, the model was smizing for Tyra Banks on cycle 20 of America"s Next Top Model.
With appearances in videos for Keyshia Cole and Iggy Azalea, along withposing for brands like Guess and Tilly"s, it"s safe to say that Benjamin, who originally moved to California to pursue acting and music, didn"t float into the oblivion like some of hisANTM contemporaries (No shade; just real-talk).

Micchatted with Benjamin to find out exactly what it"s like to shoot a music video with the Grammy-nominated singer. Turns out, all that chemistry was very, very real.
"Oh man, [Ariana"s] a great kisser," he explained in a phone interview. "The chemistry was there. We sat for a couple hours getting to know each other and getting comfortable before shooting. The more scenes we shot, the more comfortable it was."

It was a long shoot, as it lasted about 18 hours, but this is something that Benjamin learned to handle being a part of a modeling reality show. "ANTM had long hours of filming," he said. "We had to be prepared for whatever they threw at you and I"ve taken this into my career."
Benjamin didn"t want to give too many of Grande"s secrets away, but he did say that there are a lot of hidden references that Ariana fans might be able to spot if they look closely enough.
One example is that unforgettable animal cracker scene, where Benjamin says Grande said
Source:YouTube
Look familiar? It"s a nod to a popular scene from the 1998 thriller Armageddon. But, according to Benjamin, it might be more than just a homage and instead, one of the video"s subliminal messages.
After some digging on Twitter where her fans often discuss the hidden secrets behind her videos landed nowhere, one Arianator who goes by @grandeebuterax, offered to help us out.
"The video is about publicity love versus true and real love," she explained in a direct message. "Ariana enjoys being with her "other boyfriend" because she"s happy and smiling in the scenes. In addition, she"s also free to do anything. She isn"t doing it for the camera or video. she isn"t pressured." Of course,
Something else fans are now asking? If Grande and Benjamin are dating. Despite their on- screen chemistry, his answer is a definitive no.

Although he is joining the ranks of male models featured in pop artists" music videos, such as Sean O"Pry in Taylor Swift"s "Blank Space"video, Christopher Mason in Selena Gomez"s "Hands To Myself" video andDudley O"Shaughnessyin Rihanna"s "We Found Love" video, Benjamin has no plans to settle into just being a celebrity"s love interest.
"It"s fun to collaborate with other artists," he said. "But I have a single out now and maybe one day me and Ariana will be doing a song together."
His first thought about being casted in the video succintly sums up our reaction to the video as a whole: "Damnnn."

In a look behind the scenes, Perception explains the process behind designing all of these different interfaces. For gadgetry as advanced as Batman"s, the tech needed to be state of the art, so the company looked to fighter jet tracking systems, HUDs and other military tech for ideas.
The LexOS design is a complete visual departure from that of Batman"s tech. Clean, white and functional, Perception intended it to be the "polar opposite" of what was created for Batman"s character. This UI was inspired by a mix of real customer-facing OSs and other releases, creating something that uniquely matched Lex Luthor"s personality.
It"s something you may not pay attention to on first glance, but this kind of design work is interesting and useful for creating ambiance and expanding beyond a film"s actors and setpieces into another realm entirely. Next time you ponder on a UI seen in a piece of media, you might find yourself dwelling on how it came to be in the first place. And if you want to see the UI in action, check out Perception"s video here.
