Richard Jefferson"s Snapchat: LeBron James "Throw that bitch off the glass"

CLEVELAND -- Veteran NBA small forward Richard Jefferson has played several roles in his first season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and that continued in the teams 120-90 win over the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 of the NBA Finals at Quicken Loans Arena Wednesday night.
In place of power forward Kevin Love, who missed Game 3 because of a concussion, the Cavaliers started Jefferson, and he accounted for nine points with a four-for-seven shooting mark, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals over 33 minutes of play in the response win for Cleveland.
He"s a professional, Cavaliers small forward LeBron James said. He"s a true professional, and a guy who is seizing an opportunity and moment to be in this position. The last time he was in The Finals was his first and second year in the league, and I think he"s not taking this moment for granted.
He"s just going out and giving everything that he has. He knows his role. He plays it very well, and he"s key to our team.
According to Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue, inserting Jefferson in the starting lineup gave the Cavaliers an injection of quickness to go along with his floor-spacing, driving and defensive abilities.
I just think he gave us speed, Lue said. I thought he gave us the physicality on Harrison Barnes, and we were able to slide LeBron over to Draymond Green, which helped us out a lot. We were able to switch pick and rolls and things like that, so just being able to get up the floor offensively, pushing the ball, pushing the tempo, and RJ"s aggressiveness on the defensive end.
Although Jefferson played well in Game 3, he was quick to point out that despite the Cavaliers pulling out a win over the Warriors, they still trail in the best-of-seven series, two games to one.
At the end of the day, we protected once, Jefferson said. We protected home court. We have a lot of respect for our opponent. Kevin wanted to be on the court. I saw how p****d off he was when he wasnt able to be cleared in time.
Were in this together. Weve all picked each other up. You have to go with the next-man-up mentality. He is definitely one of the top players in this league. Its our job to just hold on until he can get back.
Its not adversity. We dealt with that same nonsense talk in the Eastern Conference Finals. We won our first two games at home. Toronto won their next two games. They protected home court. We protected home court. We just have to keep moving. Our job is not done. They won their first two games at home in spectacular fashion. Tonight was a good win for us, but it only counts as one. It doesnt matter if you win by 100 or one. The next game is equally as important.
And just like they did in Game 3, the Cavaliers are expecting quite a bit of support from the Cleveland faithful at Quicken Loans Arena.
Theres been so much made of the Golden State crowd, Jefferson said. I cant say enough about our crowd. Our crowd was amazing. They were ready. They were geared up and ready. They didnt care about what happened in Golden State. They knew we are a great team at home. A lot of that is in part to the energy that they bring us.
Lil Wayne Drinking Massive Amounts of Lean Hours Before Seizures
OMAHA, Neb. --
Lil Wayne is in stable condition in Omaha after suffering what his publicist described Tuesday as two minor seizures.
TMZ has reported that the Grammy-winning rapper"s private jet was forced to make two emergency landings at an Omaha airport Monday afternoon and that he was taken to a hospital.
Dennis Messina, an operations supervisor at Omaha"s Eppley Airfield, told The Associated Press that a plane landed around 2:40 p.m. due to a medical emergency, but that treatment was refused. The plane refueled and was just taking off when the pilot declared another medical emergency and returned to the airport.
Messina couldn"t confirm that Lil Wayne, whose real name is Wayne Carter, was on the plane.
Derek Sherron, publicity director of The Chamber Group, said Lil Wayne was under the care of his own doctors and was in good spirits.
"He thanks his fans for their everlasting support, prayers and well wishes," Sherron said.
Several reports said the 33-year-old New Orleans native was taken to Creighton University Medical Center. A hospital spokeswoman declined to comment Tuesday.
In March 2013, Lil Wayne was hospitalized in Los Angeles for seizures. He told a Los Angeles radio station that he"s an epileptic. In October 2012, he was hospitalized in New York for what was described as a severe migraine and dehydration.

ESPN First Take - Today 6/14/2016 (Cleveland Cavaliers vs Golden State Warriors Game 5)
OAKLAND Suspended Draymond Green will be absent for Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Monday. Ex-Knick Channing Frye, considered the X-factor off the bench for the Cavaliers entering the Finals, has been absent for the first four games.
LeBron James supporting cast has let him down in the Finals, most notably the cast of four ex-Knicks on their roster: Frye, Iman Shumpert, J.R. Smith and Timofey Mozgov.
Frye, an important part of the Cavaliers romp through the Eastern Conference playoffs, could get a boost from Greens suspension on flagrant-foul points resulting from his alleged groin-seeking swipe against James.
Kevin Love, who may return to the starting lineup, said both he and Frye can benefit from not having to faceGreens quickness in defending the outside shot.
He takes a lot away against a guy like me and Channing, guys at the perimeter, Love said before Game 5. They do a great job of guarding the perimeter as a team. Hes very dynamic on the defensive end. One of the new players who can guard 1 to 5.
Frye, the Knicks lottery pick in 2005, is just waiting for his chance. Frye has taken just threeshots (and one 3-point try) in the entire series, covering 32 minutes of action. He has two points total none in the past three games.

The scrappier Richard Jefferson has taken some of Fryes minutes, but the Cavaliers are in dire need of offensive pop. Frye feels he can help more.
Of course. Why would I not feel like that? Thats ridiculous, Frye told The Post. I think right now Rich is playing great. Thats the great thing about our team is that in different series, different guys show up and do well based on matchups and different opportunities.
In the Eastern Conference finals, Frye averaged 9 points, shooting 58.3 percent on 3-pointers. In losing Game 4 of the Finals at home, the Cavaliers mustered just six3-point baskets to a Finals-record 17 made by Golden State.
I got to stay ready, said Frye, whom the Cavaliers obtained in a February trade with Orlando. I plan to play in every game, every minute. Its not like Oh man Channing, youre doing bad. Its just that Rich is playing out of his mind.
The Warriors are up in the series 3-1 mostly because their Strength in Numbers motto has proven prophetic. The Cavaliers are not getting enough out of Shumpert and Mozgov, the center who essentially was removed from the rotation for Frye.
Iman ShumpertPhoto: NBAE via Getty Images
Shumpert, a former first-rounder whom the Knicks traded to Cleveland along with Smith last season, is a defensive specialist, but has looked especially shaky on offense. Hes shot a combined 4-of-14 with 10 points in the four games. He also hasnt been enough of a defensive force on Golden States Stephen Curry: He has zero steals.
Shumpert signed a 4-year, $40 million contract last summer and needs to better pull his weight on a club with the second-highest payroll in NBA history a roster that could see a shakeup if they go down in five games to the Warriors.
Mozgov, a key factor in last years Finals and impending free agent, played in garbage time in the first two games and was a DNP in the crushing Game 4 loss. His lone meaningful minutes came in the victory in Game 3, when he set a vicious pick on Klay Thompson that forced him from the game with a bruised thigh. Thompson whined afterward that Mozgovs pick was dirty.
Smith, the Cavaliers starting shooting guard, has disappeared for long stretches of games. In Game 1, he took just threeshots and rarely was passed the ball. In Game 4, he played all but five seconds of the second half but didnt launch one shot.
Smith has 58 3-pointers in these playoffs, which is a Cavaliers franchise record. In the Game 3 win,Smith erupted for 20 points.
On why he didnt get off a shot in the second half Friday, Smith said, Its just the flow of the game. Guys thought they had advantages going downhill. Some they finished, some they didnt. It happens. I have to continue to stay aggressive on defense.

Increible gol de Velazquez - Mexico vs Venezuela 1-1 Copa America 2016 Centenario Updated June 12, 2016 11:18 p.m. ET
MEXICO CITYMexican authorities on Sunday detained the leader of a dissident teachers group in the southern state of Oaxaca, the stronghold of teachers opposed to theeducation overhaul implemented by the administration of President Enrique Pea Nieto.
Rubn Nez was arrested on charges of using illegally obtained funds, Mexicos Attorney Generals Office said.
The arrest of Mr. Nez and seven other teachers leaders in Oaxaca in recent weeks, including the groups head of finance, have decimated leadership of the militant CNTE teachers union, a sign the government may be gaining the upper hand against the group, analysts said.
With this bold action, the government seeks to reinforce its commitment to retake control over Mexicos education system, said Marco Fernandez, an education expert at think tank Mexico Evaluates.
A lawyer for Mr. Nez couldnt be reached, while a spokesman for the CNTE in Oaxaca didnt respond to requests to comment. The seven other officials have maintained their innocence, saying the government is conducting a smear campaign.
In an interview last year, Mr. Nez said he was an honest primary schoolteacher fighting for a better public education system. Im clean. As we are fighting Pea Nietos education reform, the government wants to criminalize our organization. But its all false, he said.
Mr. Nez signed agreements with several companies to provide services to the CNTE union. Those services were paid for with union dues, and the companies had given 3.5% of the value of the contracts back to Mr. Nez for his personal use, the Attorney Generals Office said. The amount illegally transferred to Mr. Nez was $1.3 million, it added.
More arrest orders are pending against CNTE members, and authorities are investigating another $7 million in funds that may also have been misused, the Attorney Generals Office said.
The government and the dissident teachers have been locked in often violent disputes since the 2013 overhaul that introduced periodic performance evaluations for public school teachers. The reform sought to establish merit-tested jobs to improve the quality of public education.
Mexico scores the lowest in education among the members of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
Recent tests carried out by the Education Ministry revealed that half of high school graduates in Mexico could only manage basic mathematics, and more than half had reading-comprehension problems.
In recent weeks, CNTE members have organized protests in Mexico City and Oaxaca. They have gone on strike in several southern states since mid-May.
The CNTE formally is part of Mexicos national teachers union, but it doesnt recognize the unions official leadership. While the group holds sway in several impoverished states, it is strongest in Oaxaca, where its members make up about 81,000 of the states 83,000 teachers. Nationally, it has around 150,000 members.
The government views the dissident teachers as being in open rebellion against a reform that ends a model in which the national teachers union had largely controlled the hiring, promotion and layoffs of teachers in the country, as well as most of the money channeled to state governments for education services, according to senior government officials.
The teachers say they are trying to avoid privatization of education.
The first teacher performance tests were held this past November, and the Education Ministry laid off around 3,400 teachers who refused to take the exams. Teachers can also be fired if they fail to pass the exam after a third try.
Last year, federal and state governments, seeking to implement the education overhaul, fired and replaced some 300 CNTE members from management positions at Oaxacas education agency. Teachers payrolls were also transferred to the federal government, which now pays the teachers directly.
The pixels have settled after another WWDC keynote, meaning we now know exactly whats coming to iOS 10. Siris the big star, but there are plenty of other features to look forward to. Heres all the tricks your iPhone will learn this this fall.
Siri Everywhere
As expected, Apple has created a Siri SDK, which means that developers will now be able to incorporate it into their apps at will. That specific news isnt nearly as important as what it will enable.
While some third-party apps, like Yelp and OpenTable, already play nice with Siri, its a very short list. This makes Siri less useful than it could bejust compare it to Amazon Alexas thousand-plus integrationsbut more importantly, it makes the iPhone less useful than it should be. But finally, after five years of a mostly solitary existence, Siris going to make some friends.
A few of those were on stage at WWDC today. WeChat, Slack, and WhatsApp all made an appearance, meaning youll now be able to talk to those apps and have them follow your command. Whats available now though, isnt nearly as important as whats going to be by the time iOS 10 is available this fall and beyond.
iMessage, the Platform
While the rumored iMessage for Android didnt materialize, Apples chat app did pick up a suite of sweet new features. Theres a lot going on here, most of which catches the app up to its messaging rivals.
iMessage will have rich links inline, meaning you can play videos from YouTube or songs from Music without bailing out to another app. Its emoji are three times bigger than before, and it will prompt you to emojify any words (pizza, taco, love eggplant?) as you type.
You can add effects to the text in your bubbles, making it larger if you want to shout and smaller if youre feeling meek. You can write messages in invisible ink, that the recipient can only read after swiping, or you can blur them until they tap. This would be good for lots of uses and NOT just s*x stuff.
And then, again, those third-party integrations show up. iMessage now has an app drawer, meaning you can send money with Square, order food with DoorDash, and so on. Turning iMessage into a platform is a move Apple needed to make, especially with Facebook Messenger having already done most of this a year ago.
Apple Music Makeover
What Apple Music lacks in usability it makes up for in exclusives. In iOS 10, though, Apples late-arriving Spotify competitor is going to fix much of what ails it. The key word is simplicity: Everythings much more clean and navigable, including a new tab for downloaded music (thank goodness) and a For You section that provides a new playlist of music Apple thinks youll like every single day. Think Spotify Discover, but more frequently updated.
Apple Connect, which was a thing that you forgot existed, has been a little bit tucked away, because again, you forgot it existed.
More Responsive Notifications
You know that thing where Touch ID works so quickly that you blow right past your lock screen? Apple added a feature that shows you whats on your display when you pick it up. From there, you can get more info or respond to them from the lock screen using 3D Touch. Apps with information that evolves in real-time (think Uber letting you know where a car is, or ESPN showing you a score) can have notifications update live. It also looks cleaner than before, which is going to be a theme here.
Other than the 3D Touch feature/gimmick, smartphones like the Moto X have been doing this for years. Which is why I can confidently tell you that youll love it.
Photos, Managed
To get a sense of what Apples updated Photos app can do, just open Google Photos. Face recognition, object recognition, clustering and sorting by person, date, and place. All of this mirrors what Google Photos has done since last year, with the crucial difference that Apples machine learning smarts all take place locally, on your device.
Thats great if Google gives you privacy concerns, but itll be interesting to see if Apples version local can match the chops of what Googles cloud. Another notable difference: Google stores your photos in the cloud for free, while youll have to pay up for iCloud when you run out of room.
Prettier, More Open Maps
Maps got a design tweak (hello, pan and zoom mid-navigation) but more importantly its now open to third party developers. In the keynote example, you can use OpenTable to make a restaurant reservation, call it up on Maps, and summon an Uber to take you there.
Another small update that youll appreciate: Gas station listings. Sure!
Siri Helps You Type
Siris going to give Apples QuickType keyboard a boost, bringing contextual awareness (your location, your calendar, and more) into play to provide suggested replies. If someone asks where you are, for instance, Siri can tell them for you.
Apple News Rethink
I really enjoy Apple News, but am also aware that in its current iteration its just a chopped salad of stories, jumbled up in no real relation to one another. That changes in iOS 10. Now, News sorts the news into sections that make sense, and also includes support for subscriptions. Which, after Newsstand effectively shut down, is a major improvement for readers and publications alike.
Also: Breaking news notifications, because NYT doesnt already send you enough of those.
HomeKit: Still HomeKitting
HomeKit still exists! Although theres not a ton new to say about it, aside from theres an actual app now, called Home, from which you can control all of your smart home devices that have compatible apps. Home automation nerds, this ones for you, although I fear you are a small subset. Then again, Im the guy who uses Apple News, so no judgment here!
Phone Fun
There are a lot of cool features coming to the Phone app (remember, you can still make phone calls with your iPhone), but the only one Im really looking forward to is voicemail transcription. If its even half as bad as Googles, it should provide endless entertainment.
Otherwise! Theres a new VoIP API that lets incoming calls from WhatsApp, FaceTime, or wherever look more like normal phone call. Itll also automatically check calls for which seem like spam, and let you know.
