Why Kevin Love"s comparison of LeBron James and Kyrie Irving to former USC RBs LenDale White and Reggie Bush ...

Kyrie Irving Full Highlights 2016 ECF Game 2 vs Raptors - 26 Pts, UNSTOPPABLE!

CLEVELAND, Ohio Following Game 1 of the 2016 Eastern Conference Finals, Cavaliers forward Kevin Love had an interesting comparison for his teammates LeBron James and Kyrie Irving.

He told reporters after the Cavs" 115-84 win that he felt the duo of James and Irving resembled the potent USC running back tandem of LenDale White and Reggie Bush.

When asked after the game, neither James nor Irving had a good answer to give. They might not have liked that comparison, but those that remember the explosive running attack of Thunder and Lightning from USC can make some comparisons between them even though they play different sports.

At USC, White was the power back and Bush was the game-breaker, making explosive plays on the perimeter.

In Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, James did the bulk of his work inside the restricted area and Irving befuddled Toronto"s defenders with an array of dribble moves and creative finishes around the basket.

That"s not to say James can"t do that. But his role most of this postseason has been in the post with Irving creating on the outside.

Sounds just like a Thunder and Lightning combo.

At USC in 2005, the year that Bush won, and eventually surrendered, the Heisman trophy, he averaged 8.7 yards per carry, rushing for 1,740 yards and 16 touchdowns.

White rushed for 1,302 yards and 24 touchdowns for the Trojans.

Although those records were vacated due to NCAA violations, there"s no doubt White and Bush were one of the better running back duos in recent memory.

Getting back to basketball, there may be some merit to Love"s comparison.

James, in Game 1, missed just one shot in the restricted area and only took one shot outside of the restricted area.

Irving was 6-for-8 in the restricted area, but was also 5-for-9 from everywhere else on the floor. He hit a couple of mid-range jumpers as well as a 3-pointer. But he also had some nice drives to the basket as well.

Love"s unique comparison may have caught James and Irving off guard. But based on how they played in Game 1, there is some merit to it.

Trump scores NRA backing and attacks "Heartless Hillary"

CROSSBAR CHALLENGE!!!!!

The Second Amendment is on the ballot in November, Trump told the more than 7,000 NRA members gathered here for an annual meeting. I will never let you down. I will protect our Second Amendment. I will protect our country.

"If your preferred candidate dropped out of the race, its time to get over it," NRA leader says.

Updated 05/20/16 04:47 PM EDT

LOUISVILLE, Ky. Despite his past support for gun control, Donald Trump scored the powerful endorsement of the National Rifle Association on Friday and turned immediately to launch a new attack line on his Democratic opponent.

Dubbing her "Heartless Hillary" Clinton, Trump and the NRAs leaders cast the 2016 election in stark terms as a referendum on the likely Democratic nominee that carries long-lasting implications for gun enthusiasts nationwide.

Story Continued Below

The Second Amendment is on the ballot in November, Trump told the more than 7,000 NRA members who paid to attend his speech, roughly 10 percent of the 70,000 activists in town for the groups annual meeting. I will never let you down. I will protect our Second Amendment. I will protect our country.

Showcasing his knack for nicknames and speaking in his characteristic vernacular, Trump drew hearty applause and two standing ovations during a speech that focused as much on a broad commitment to restoring the countrys strength as it did on guns and self-defense.

Trump emphasized his commitment to secure the border, a strong military and tougher crime laws. The 30-minute speech amounted to Trumps hardest hitting and most extensive broadsides against Clinton since he secured the GOP nomination earlier this month, portraying his likely general election opponent as weak in all the areas where he is strong.

Hillary Clinton will release violent criminals from jail and put innocent Americans at risk, Trump said. Im going to put criminals behind bars and guarantee that law-abiding Americans have the right to self-defense.

Speaking in broad terms about safety, Trump referenced Wednesday evenings disappearance of an Egyptian airliner and the advent of the terrorist group known as ISIS or ISIL.

Ive been looking at airplanes getting blown up in the air, its just not the same, Trump mused. Were going to bring it back to a real place where we dont have to be afraid.

Paris, Trump continued, is probably the toughest place in the world to have a gun, as he attributed last years ISIL-coordinated terror attack there to the countrys strict gun control laws. If you would have had guns on the other side, Trump said, there wouldnt have been 130 people killed.

Beginning to read his prepared remarks from a teleprompter, Trump accused Clinton of having bad judgment and criticized her for saying the Supreme Court is wrong on the Second Amendment.

But he glossed over his own past support for gun control laws. So, too, did the NRAs leaders, who set the stage for the presumptive GOP nominee by casting the 2016 election as a referendum on Clinton, whose election would lead to a dark future in which gun owners find their names on a national registration list and witness the gradual erosion of their Second Amendment rights.

If she gets just one Supreme Court nomination, you can kiss your guns goodbye, said CEO Wayne LaPierre, who promised NRA members would impact the election and make our country great again.

Chris c*x, the NRAs executive director, also urged the groups members Friday to back Trump, despite his past transgressions on gun issues, in order to prevent a Clinton presidency.

If we dont show up at the polls in force this November, we will witness the end...the end of individual freedom in this country, c*x said. Thats not hyperbole. Its the truth. But first, weve got to get together. It"s time to unite. If your preferred candidate dropped out of the race, its time to get over it.

The focus on demonizing Clinton, not just by LaPierre and c*x but by Trump himself, gave a sense that NRA members and perhaps conservatives more broadly are likely to be motivated this fall by their antipathy toward her, which in many cases is stronger than their positive feelings about Trump.

On the issue of guns, Trump is continuing to rely on his two sons to allay any existing anxieties about his absolute commitment to the NRAs agenda. He began his remarks Friday by noting how much they know about guns and how many guns they own. Next week, Donald Trump, Jr., is scheduled to appear with c*x at an NRA roundtable discussion in Washington with members of Congress to discuss issues affecting sportsmen.

When Trump addressed this same group last year, roughly a month before launching his campaign, he spoke for about eight minutesincluding bringing his sons and a daughter-in-law on stage and explaining, they know more about rifles, they know more about shooting. Beyond a few declarations of I love the Second Amendment, he focused on the tremendously horrible, inconceivable Iran deal and jobs moving to China and Mexico.

Trump didnt always love the NRA. In his 2000 book The America We Deserve, he knocked Republicans who walk the NRA line and refuse even limited restrictions, and said that while he generally opposes gun control, there should be a ban on assault weapons and a longer waiting period.

Following the Newtown school shooting in December 2013, Trump tweeted that President Obamas speech, in which he called for action on gun control, spoke for me and every American.

That was all gone by last summer. Trump told NBC in July that any steps to make buying guns harder starts on the slippery slope, where all of a sudden you are going to violate the Second Amendment. He released his full gun policy platform in September, he rejected any new bans on categories of guns and scoffed at further expanding background checks. Instead, he called for harsher punishments for people who commit violent crimes and fixing the mental health system. Trump also called for expanding gun rights, including making concealed carry permits valid nationwide and allowing guns on military bases and recruiting centers.

Were getting rid of gun-free zones, Trump said again Friday.

Clinton took aim at Trumps toughening position on guns in a tweet last week, pointing to his January declaration in Vermont that he will get rid of gun free zones on school campuses and military bases, promising immediate action.

"My first day, it gets signed, okay? he said. My first day. There"s no more gun-free zones."

As eager as Democrats are to draw a contrast between Clinton and Trump, who they believe is cynically playing on peoples fears, they couldnt resist pointing out the Republicans reversals.

We all know that Donald Trump in the past has been open to some reasonable measures, said Tom Mauser, whose son died in the 1999 Columbine shooting, during a conference call Friday organized by gun control advocates. This is one place where he cannot stray. He has to worship at the altar of the NRA on these issues.

Trumps speech was an effort to reassure gun owners that, whatever their concerns about his past trespasses on their signature issue, that he will be a far better advocate for them and do more to ensure the countrys safety and security than the likely Democratic nominee.

The Second Amendment is important but its not the only issue, said Jim Renner, an NRA member from Eaton, Ohio. I think most people realize its either Trump or whoever wins the Democratic primary, and that thats not really an option.

Many of the activists here who support Trump are more enthusiastic about the opportunity to send a message by electing a political outsider than they are motivated by his position on the Second Amendment or any other singular issue.

Im so sick of the same old, same old in Washington, people who are all in bed with each other and not doing anything for the people of this country, said Katherine Bricking, 53, a nurse from Louisville and a registered Democrat. My whole family are registered Democrats, including my mother who voted for Obama. And this time were all voting for Trump.

But those activists for whom the Second Amendment remains an essential litmus test are skeptical about Trump"s recent conversion to the conservative orthodoxy on guns.

If it were Ted Cruz talking passionately about the Second Amendment, I would be up on my feet because I believe him, said Laura Carno, an NRA member and conservative activist from Colorado Springs who was instrumental in mounting a successful 2013 recall election against Democratic state lawmakers who passed tougher gun control measures.

Im just not sure I believe Trump given all of his flip-flops on this issue. I look forward to him trying to earn my vote, but its an uphill climb. If the election were today, I would probably be bubbling in the circle for Gary Johnson.

Sarah Wheaton contributed to this report.

Christina Milian on Eating Fish and Trying to Unwind

Christina Milian - Do It (feat. Lil Wayne)[Official]

Ever wonder what the singer of a hit song from the aughts is up to these days? We frequently do. Turns out Christina Milian, whose club jam Dip It Low can still move a room, is all over your TV: She was on the just-canceled comedy Grandfathered alongside 90s royalty John Stamos, and she has her own reality show. We talked to the star, who"s known for that music video where she gets what looks like toxic sludge poured on her (it was body latex), about her views on wellness.

How I start my mornings: I"ll have an egg-white omelet with some spinach and some peas, or tomatoes, or salsa. I try not to mix everything with juice because of all the excess sugar, so I"m going to enjoy some cheese.I mean, I love good old classic American cheese. I love any cheese. I"m a cheese lover.

What wellness means to me:Taking care of yourself inside and out. I think it"s happiness. You need to keep a good attitude and have a positive way of challenging yourself to be better. There"s fitness and health, of course, too, but at the end of the day, just always try to better yourself.

How I like to work out:I"m an outdoorsy person, but right now since it"s so cold over here [Toronto], I"ll just do about 20 or 30 minutes on the treadmill a little bit of speed-walking or running. I used to have the TV on, but now I"ll listen to music. I"ll listen to likeDrake or Future orBeyoncorRihanna. I can do situps and squats.

How wellness has changed for me:I"m apescetarianright now, but I"m off and on. I just started in January and it"s new for me. The only thing was that I found myself eating more carbs. I had to find a balance because I wasn"t getting as full [as I was] from red meat. I love pork. My family, they get it. My sister has done it before, and she"s done it for two years. I"ve actually tried to challenge them to do it. Exposure to information helps create the change toward being well. I do my own research and get information from friends.

How my approach to wellness and beauty has changed over time:It"s about finding newer and better ways to take better care of the things that are growing out of my body, from nails to hair. For example, I might switch from acrylic to gel. Then it"s like, I"m going to try and take biotin and not dye my hair as often. I consider wigsnow, too, because that way your hair can grow out naturally, without having to worry about any breakage. Brushing your hair more often and massaging your scalp those are other kinds of things that I do. It"s kind of basic but I"m trying to shampoo my hair less often, and with nothing that has all the parabens. Once in a blue moon I"ll do a coconut oil treatment.

My biggest wellness struggle:Maybe keeping up, with things such as the differences of eating organic and not. But I"m paying more attention to it now.

How I unwind before bed:I don"t really. I feel like I never unwind. Usually I"m on my phone right until I go to bed and will check some emails. I"d love to say it"s wine, but wine is not always the best thing to sleep on. Maybe a hot bath?

I always go on Instagram or Facebook or else I"ll just take a really, really hot shower. But I feel like those things kind of keep you up later. Usually, I just take a really hot shower, get in my bed, and allow my body to fall asleep.Whole Foods has this, like, scoopable do-it-yourself bath soap, but I don"t really have a particular one. I like lavender.

My wellness shortcut: I don"t think there is a shortcut for anything. If there is anything, maybe drinking lots of water. Even for trimming down, I think the biggest shortcut is hydration.I have never counted but I always have bottles of water around. I always have bottles by my bed or in my car so it"s never an issue. At least the option is there to drink water.

How I like to eat when I"m alone: I like everything. I wouldn"t even say chips it"s more like tuna fish on toast. I"ll make myself a little tuna melt and if I"m really going for it, I"ll get dill chips or something.

My wellness advice: I"ve always said, "I can"t ever see myself being vegetarian or pescetarian, but then I realized, "Okay, well, it"s a challenge that I could probably take and is worth it." After you challenge yourself once, it becomes a lot easier to challenge yourself to not do other things.

Marques Bolden picks Duke over Kentucky

John Calipari and Marques Bolden

Get all of Chris Johnsons columns as soon as theyre published. Download the new Sports Illustrated app (iOSor Android) and personalize your experience by following your favorite teams and SI writers.

Many college basketball fans may have already shifted their focus towards the class of 2017, but one player who should affect the national title race this season revealed his college decision on Thursday. Marques Bolden, the top center in the class of 2016, announced in a ceremony at his high school that he will sign with Duke.

He chose the Blue Devils over finalists Kentucky and TCU after reportedly arriving to the announcement in a purple Horned Frogs T-shirt.

Weve waited a long, long time for Boldens decision. There was speculation it would come in time for the early signing period in November, and after that passed he talked about deciding in December or January. Instead, he waited until after the conclusion of his senior season at DeSoto (Tex.) High.

Bolden released a list of eight schools (Alabama, Baylor, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, Oklahoma, TCU, Wake Forest) last August, and in March a report from the Dallas Morning News said he had narrowed it down to three schools (the Blue Devils, Wildcats and Horned Frogs). However, Duke and Kentucky were considered the clear favorites entering Thursday.

Less than two weeks before Bolden unveiled his choice, Kentucky coach John Calipari seemingly attempted to undermine Dukes recruiting pitch in a blog post on his website. Calipari also posted videos of himself exercising late last month that were interpreted in some circles as a possible attempt to sway prospects considering Kentucky.

Whether or not those tactics influenced Bolden, he ultimately wasn"t sold on the Wildcats.

The 6"10", 254-pound Bolden is renowned for his rebounding and post-scoring ability. He averaged 23.4 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game this season, according to the Morning News. The latest version of the Recruiting Services Consensus Index, a composite ranking that incorporates several services, pegs Bolden No. 21 in the class of 2016.

Bolden has become one of the nation"s elite centers, Boldens Scout.com analysis notes. He"s strong, athletic, scores with his back to the basket and strikes an imposing figure on defense as well. He"s both productive and has the room to expand his game even more, placing him ahead of he frontcourt field.

Bolden participated in both the McDonalds All-American Game and the Nike Hoop Summit last month.

Boldens decision cements Dukes status as the preseason favorite to win the national championship. SI.com ranked the Blue Devils No. 1 in its way-too-early top 25 in April because of their combination of returning talent and a strong incoming recruiting class. Bolden makes the latter even stronger.

In addition to Bolden, Duke will bring in four prospects ranked in the top 10 nationally by Scout.compower forwards Harry Giles and Javin DeLaurier, point guard Frank Jackson and small forward Jayson Tatumplus Australian wing Jack White. With Bolden in the fold, Duke finishes this recruiting cycle with the top class in the country.

MORE: How the NCAA can improve the draft process for its prospects

That group alone would make the Blue Devils a top ACC contender. But they also bring back three skilled perimeter players in Grayson Allen, Matt Jones and Luke Kennard, plus big man Amile Jefferson. Far from a rebuilding year after losing the potential No. 1 pick in the draft, Brandon Ingram, Duke should be even better in 201617 than the Sweet 16 that took the court this year.

Bolden will join Giles, Jefferson and sophomore Chase Jeter to form one of the nation"s top frontcourts.

The on-court implications of Boldens decision are clear, but another source of intrigue is its impact on the Blue Devils and Wildcats intense competition for top-notch talent across the country. Duke won this battle, but you can expect at least a few more between the two programs in the next recruiting cycle

After "Lip Sync Battle" Christina Milian"s Next TV Show May Be "Rocky Horror"

Christina Milian - Liar (Official)

Christina Milian has been a topic of conversation on Twitter because so many of her fans are sad that Grandfathered got canceled, and there will be less of her character Vanessa in their lives.

Although Vulture and Variety gave great reviews about the finale of Grandfathered, they gave little insight into what Christina Milian has coming up for the summer.

Unfortunately, it appears that her fans may be experiencing a Christina Milian drought in 2016. As it stands, there are several potential projects on the horizon, but after the immediate future, it might not be until Halloween that any of Christina Milians fans will see her on television.

On Facebook, Christina Milian announced that she is still on TV for a bit longer after Grandfathered, and she is using her stage skills with her former Grandfathered co-star, Josh Peck, for Lip Sync Battle on May 19 on Spike TV.

About Lip Sync Battle, Billboard writes that Christina Milian fired up the stage the week before with her choreographed version of Jennifer Lopezs Waiting for Tonight.

After Lip Sync Battle, unfortunately, it might be a long and hot summer without Christina Milian. This can be harsh for fans because Christina Milian was a big part of TV in 2015 and early 2016 because of her show, Turned Up on the E! Network.

Regardless, there have not been any announcements about a new season of her reality TV series despite the fact that the announcements of the first two seasons were fairly immediate and predictable.

For instance, the first season of Christina Milians show premiered on January 18, 2015, after starting production as early as March 2014. Following a successful first season, it was announced in April 2015 that there would be a second season for Christina Milian Turned Up which premiered several months later on November 3, 2015.

Christina Milian may not be on TV much this summer, but that does not mean she will not be working hard on upcoming projects like her role in Rocky Horror on FOX. (Photo by Astrid Stawiarz/Getty Images)

While Turned Up Season 2 was immediately picked up, unfortunately, the same news was not announced for Christina Milian fans for Season 3.

In the meantime, what has been announced on the E! Network instead of Christina Milians show is Mariah Careys new reality series, and they already have a teaser, according to Bella Naija.

This means there many be no rhyme or reason to predicting when the announcement by the E! Network about Christina Milian Turned Up having a Season 3 will happen.

Unless another project is announced, the next likely option to see Christina Milian acting might be when she plays Magenta in Rocky Horror Picture Show that debuts on FOX on Halloween.

Outside of acting and singing, Christina Milian is a business woman and owns a fashion line called We Are Pop Culture. While she may launch a new app at any time or promote a product she loves (such as her Viva Diva Wines), it is likely that fashion is the only way Christina Milian fans can hope to see more of her this summer.

After all, Christina Milian spent a majority of the summer of 2015 managing pop-up stores for We Are Pop Culture in Las Vegas and Los Angeles, according to Daily Mail.

In some ways, it does seem that Christina Milian could be teasing about potential We Are Pop Culture fashion lines. For example, on May 14, Christina Milian was photographed wearing a bold shirt with screen-printed guns, according to Mirror.

On May 13, Christina Milian was photographed by Daily Mail wearing a stunning black evening gown for the AltaMed Power Up, We Are The Future Gala in Beverly Hills.

Whatever is next, people continue to be fascinated with almost every aspect of Christina Milians life including her take on motherhood. For example, when Christina Milian graced the cover of Georgie magazine, The YBF quotes her stating the following.

The only thing that I stress out about is, how am I going to make sure that I balance out my time for motherhood? How am I going to make this work? Because my daughter that time means everything to her and to us. Shes all I got. We could work really hard but we could watch time fly, you know? Tomorrows not promised.

NBA-James" triple-double powers Cavs to rout of Raptors

Michael Jordan: 69 points vs Cavs 1990 (career high)

May 19 (The Sports Xchange) - LeBron James recorded his 15th post-season triple-double as he moved past Shaquille O"Neal into fourth place on the all-time post-season scoring list in the Cleveland Cavaliers" 108-89 victory over the Toronto Raptors in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals on Thursday.

James had 23 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. Kyrie Irving scored 26 points and Kevin Love had 19 points for the Cavs.

DeMar DeRozan scored 22 points to top Toronto, and James Johnson, Terrence Ross and Cory Joseph scored 11 apiece.

Kyle Lowry scored 10 points on 4-of-14 shooting for the Raptors, who go home in an 0-2 deficit for the first time this post-season.

Game 3 is on Saturday in Toronto.

The Cavs scored 16 of the final 18 points in the first half after the game was tied at 46 with 4:05 left in the second quarter.

The Raptors missed their last nine shots of the half while each member of the Cavs" Big Three took turns extending the lead.

Lowry again struggled through a miserable shooting night, missing seven of his first eight shots before finally making a three-pointer with 8:31 left in the third quarter.

He was 5-for-20 shooting in this series prior to that basket, including missing his first 11 3-point attempts. He did not attempt his first three throws in the series until the fourth quarter Thursday.

The Cavs continue to storm through the East with little resistance. While the Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder continue to fight in the West, the Cavs are winning playoff games by an average of more than 12 points.

Tristan Thompson had nine points and 12 rebounds for the Cavs, and Channing Frye scored 10 points off the bench.

Cleveland reserve guard Matthew Dellavedova limped out of the game after turning his ankle in the second half and did not return.
